Many Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles are equipped with ECO mode and ECO data systems. The ECO driving mode modifies the vehicle’s settings to help reduce fuel consumption and to encourage a more efficient driving style.

When selected, the accelerator pedal response and automatic gearshift changes are adjusted. Some of the vehicle’s heating and ventilation may also be changed. For example, heated seats and steering wheel are switched off, if they are currently on.

The ECO data system is designed to help the driver enhance fuel economy by providing vehicle data and driving tips. The ECO data is accessed via the Extra Features menu on the touchscreen and monitors the driver’s manual inputs, including accelerator pedal and brake pedal.
