Did you know Blind Spot Monitor and Blind Spot Assist are now available on many Jaguar Land Rover vehicles?

The Blind Spot Monitor system employs radars on the rear sides of the vehicle to identify overtaking traffic in the driver’s blind spot. The relevant door mirror will display an amber vehicle warning icon, alerting the driver that there is a potential hazard in the vehicle’s blind spot, indicating a lane change might be dangerous.

Blind Spot Assist, the next evolution of blind spot monitor, will automatically apply steering torque to guide you away from the vehicle in your blind spot if you begin to change lanes. Blind Spot Assist can be enabled or disabled via the Advanced Driver Assistance menu in the instrumental panel in case you wish to use only the monitor portion of the feature.
